About Me:
Let me share a little about myself. I've spent over two decades immersed in the world of yoga and wellness. It all began when I was a young boy growing up in Bombay, India. Yoga found its way into my life, and I became a dedicated student of this ancient practice. My journey led me to the USA in 1997 where I initially came to study Computer Science as an undergrad.
I had the privilege of practicing and later training with the renowned Hot Yoga Guru, Bikram Choudhury from Bikram Yoga. This transformative experience ignited my passion for sharing the wisdom of yoga with others.
In 2000, I moved and opened my first Bikram Yoga studio, in Paradise Valley Arizona, and in 2004, I birthed Sumit's Yoga—a fusion of (Bikram and Ashtanga) yoga styles that has since touched the lives of many. My mission has always been to empower individuals to achieve optimal health and wellness through a unique and inclusive approach.

Sumit's Yoga is more than just a vision; it's a unique hot yoga class that seamlessly blends the powerful sequences of Bikram Yoga with the fluidity of Vinyasa (Ashtanga) Yoga with well thought of music. It's also about creating a vibrant and supportive community where we explore the art and science of yoga, meditation, and overall wellness. It's about finding the balance between ancient wisdom and modern living, and it's about sharing the soulful principles that have guided my own journey.
